All projects that the Department undertakeaim to exceed minimum mandatory standards of Environmental sustainability. Particular emphasis is given to the use of locally supplied materials and reducing the running cost of the property for occupiers whilst reducing carbon emissions through compliance with the requirements of Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM.
