Ian Williams FCIH, MRICS

Ian Williams is the Group Chief Executive. Previously he was the Chief Executive of Hafod Housing Association until the Group restructure in October 2002. Before joining Hafod in 1978 he was employed by another Housing Association in South Wales. In his voluntary capacity, Ian is Vice Chair of Community Housing Cymru and also a member of the Property Panel of the Wales Council for Voluntary Action.

Mr Chad Patel FCCA, MinstD

Mr Chad Patel is Hendre's Managing Director and also the Group Finance Director. Following a number of years in audit and financial positions in the profession and industry, Chad was offered the opportunity to join Coventry Churches Housing Association as Finance Manager in 1989. He joined Hafod in February 1992 as the Director of Finance and assumed his current role following the Group restructure in October 2002.

Matthew Davies BSc (Hons) MRICS MaPS

Matthew Davies is Hendre's Director of Development Services. He commenced his employment with Hafod Housing Association in 1996 and has been employed by Hafod Housing Association and Hendre for eight of the last eleven years. Between appointments with Hafod Housing and Hendre, he worked for almost three years with Cymdeithas Tai Dewi Sant as Development Manager/Head of Technical Services. He has also worked with a number of Housing Associations in South Wales providing Development Agent services.

David Hayhoe FCCA

David Hayhoe is Hendre's Director of Corporate Services, a post that he has held since July 2006. He was appointed as the Assistant Director of Finance for Hafod Housing Association in early 1996, subsequently continuing this role with Hendre following the Group restructure in 2002. Previously, he was a Finance Manager with Merthyr Tydfil Housing Association and prior to that he spent 24 years with British Coal Corporation, successfully heading up the financial services in three coalfield areas in South Wales, North and South Yorkshire before being appointed as Deputy Financial Controller of the Corporation based in their Nottinghamshire headquarters.

John Wreford CSW RSW

John Wreford is the new Chairman of Hendre. He is a retired Director of Social Services and now works as a self-employed consultant in social care and housing He is a former Vice Chair of a Local Health Board and was Chair of Hafod Housing Association for many years.
